The Standard, now and then, is identical to the Custom save for a one-piece mahogany body instead of the maple/mahogany sandwich of the Custom.And because the maple top of the Custom is so thick, the all-mahogany Standard not only looks but also sounds profoundly differently from an acoustic standpoint.The PRS Standard 24 20th Anniversary brings players all of the quality and tone of a USA made PRS at a great price. The body is solid mahogany for great tone and sustain. The 25 inch scale neck is mahogany with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with Birds in flight inlays. Hfs and Vintage Pick-ups dish out killer tones. A PRS trem and locking tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is Natural mahogany. I believe it was called Vintage orange but I'm not 100% certain. The finish is a thin matte satin lacquer. It really gives the guitar a nice acoustic tone and should wear just like a vintage guitar in years to come. A great instrument for a great price!This is a great feeling PRS. The neck is straight and the action is low. The pickups sound awesome with tons of warmth and growl. My Favourite In fact! Everything works as it should. Very little play time on it. Excellent condition with one very minor Impression to the back of the body. Comes in original hardshell case with all the original case candy. Please note that the P from the Headstock decal is no longer present. I have ordered a replacement which I will include in with the sale.The PRS Standard 24 Satin has been discontinued. I haven't seen many on the market, especially Charcoal models.
