O’CUILLEAIN OC D-45 USA CUSTOM HANDMADE DREADNAUGHT GUITAR
You are bidding on ONE O’CUILLEAIN 2011 OC D-45 USA CUSTOM HANDMADE DREADNAUGHT GUITAR. This is a barely used acoustic guitar that we received as you see it in the photos. I've kept this guitar for years because I've absolutely loved the styling and sound of this guitar but I've barely played it and have way too many guitars so I'm reluctantly letting it go from my personal collection due to space constraints. This is a beautiful Custom American Made Acoustic guitar that's very rare and hard to find. Not many people are willing to give one up. Original retail was $5000 which was a bargain compared to it's equivalent C.F Martin D-45 which sold for $11,000. I originally purchased this as a lost freight item without a case. It has a couple of very small pressure marks/indentations on the top but nothing bad at all (we'll show everything described in the photos so scroll down and check them out). There are some marks in the back of the neck. Not anything you can feel when playing, but they look like rub marks in what looks like a little more of a matte finish indicating that it's possible there was some kind of neck repair at one point. If there was then it was very well done but the finish from mid-neck to the head on the back side isn't quite the gloss finish of everything else and the finish on the back of the head shows some of what looks like overspray of a clear coat? Not highly noticeable but if you look closely you will see it. The neck is straight, solid, and it plays beautifully. There are hardly any marks other than what's mentioned (even on the pick guard so you can see it's barely been played). Body: Dreadnought body with spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides. Cream-bound front and back as well as abalone purfling on the top, back, and sides. Abalone rosette, bridge inlays, and bridge pin dots. Rosewood bridge. Red tortoise pickguard. Bound ebony fret board with abalone inlays. 1 3/4” nut width. Gold Grover tuning machines. Custom abalone headstock inlay. We later got a slightly damaged stagg guitar case that it fit very nicely in. The case is not perfect - it has some of the fabric peeling up on the bottom and the wood is separated around the top of the lower bout section. Pretty easy fix with some wood glue. One of the latches is also missing the little metal prong. This is your chance to save big-time on a beautiful custom made guitar that normally would sell for MUCH more. Don't miss out!!
