Double cutaway, snake head is very "COOL!" Model!
Body & neck is mahogany, fingerboard is hakaranda, melody maker PU × 2.
It appeared in the shape of Les Paul Jr in 1959, and in 1981 two years later, the double cutaway model arrived this time is added.
Although it is in a state, there is a trace in which a pet of a rotomatic type was once attached.
I used an oversized string bush and it has been replaced with a peg of a later age. There is a bend in the 6th string peg. Exchange of position mark of 3F, exchange is seen with pick guard and pick up setscrew.
As for the assembly, you can check the replacement of the rear PU's mounting plate and the trace of solder reattachment to each pot kind. Also the lead wire of the front PU is black lead wires are used.
As for the pot, it is made for 61 years all.
Peeling of the paint is seen inside the inside of the 6 string side cutaway, the corner of the body, under the tailpiece, overall dents and scratches corresponding to the age, weather checks can be seen, but good atmosphere with no big damage is.
Adjustment of the fret is done properly, the string height is also set up to be low to play low. The height of the frets is also adequate.
A thin body and a crisp sound by the melody maker PU, while playing cheap, it plays an attractive sound unique to this model.
From this looks and atmosphere, for guitar vocal style people, I think that it is very cool Kimaru! It is the best instruments to strum the R & R !!
