This is an Allen MDS-45 digital electronic organ. A product of years of refinement in digital techniques by Allen engineers, it is an instrument of remarkably advanced tone quality and performance. Built in approximately 1990 it is wired for Midi which can easily be added. It also has the electronic capture system with general, manual-specific, and toe stud pistons. It also has the card reading system which allows the instrument to expand its instruments in hundreds of ways; there are 30+ cards included, and many more can be ordered. The organ also comes with four excellent Allen speakers (HC142-F). The cabinets of the organ and the speakers is in excellent condition except for one speaker that has a small piece of veneer missing (see picture); this could easily be fixed. The instrument reportedly began its life as the practice organ of the organist for The First Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama. That gentleman gave it to his nephew in Michigan, who sold it to me. As far as I know it has always been a home practice instrument and has been maintained by Allen organ technicians.
