HISTORY
Ibanez began making copies of the Gibson F-5 mandolin in the 1970's. By the 1980's they had moved on with their own original designs, and this 529 model represents the top of the line. With a unique carved scroll and fancy headstock, you can see a more modern take on the F-5 along the lines of the Monteleone and Kentucky KM Dawg designs. G82 serial number means July 1982 manufacture. The 1982 Ibanez mandolin & banjo catalog is included, depicting this model. You also get the vintage hard case and a tie-around strap. FEATURES
