Up for sale is a BEAUTIFUL Lisle viola from the Lisle Violin Shop. It is not only beautiful on the outside but the sound is very warm and rich on the inside when played. I purchased this beautiful viola from the original owner for $1,800, who is a professional player. She was using it as her practice instrument at the time, so you can definitely tell it has been played as it does show some wear (see pictures). This does not affect play ability whatsoever and is just cosmetic. I am a novice at best and have let this amazing instrument sit in a closet not being played for far too long. I checked with the Lisle Violin Shop and this viola is one in a series of only 18 ever made. According to the shop, it currently has a retail value of right at $2,000. The size is 15 1/4" as you can see in the picture showing through the F-hole.It originally had only one fine tuner, however, I had the other three added after I purchased it (like I said, I'm a complete novice). Below, I have listed all of the extras that are included.This viola would be great for a student who already has a little experience under their belt or someone who is just wanting a higher quality instrument starting out.
