Up for auction today is one RARE Steel String GODIN MULTIAC six string , three tone access acoustic electric with Roland SYNTH ACCESS. Thirteen Pin (13) female input along with quarter inch regular guitar cord access. Made by Robert Godin's Canadian company. Most Multiacs are nylon string but he does make a limited number of steel string Multiacs. This is my second one . I love this guitar. It is very unique. It has a SITKA SPRUCE top and premium Mahogany hollowed out for the sides and back. See pic's. It is loud acoustically without being plugged in. It is currently strung with Elixar 12- 52 AWG. The internal bracing is what gives the Multiac its unique voicing. Plays perfect and intonation is spot on. Stays in perfect tune. Expensive ebony fingerboard dense and black with SPOT chalk position markers. Of course it includes hardshell case which it will be shipped it to new owner. 9 volt battery compartment with rear door access. The guitar plays and sounds BEAUTIFUL!In near MINT condition.In the bridge is an L.R. Baggs piezo gold saddle transducer for electric and acoustic tones. A five (5) band graphic equalizer section is employed in the left upper bout of this all solid wood axe. No lamination on Godin products. The Multiac allows for Roland Guitar Synth access. The synth allows COUNTLESS tones and patches which may provide bass, Hammond organ B3, 12 string, percussion, sax, flute, and many more musical sounds.I played in a Jimmy Buffett duo and with just two acoustic guitars and a Boss drum machine it sounded like a five (5) piece band.
