Baldwin Grand is the sound to which all electric keyboards and synths attempt to emulate--both in sound and touch. Other piano makers have used Baldwin grand as the standard for sound and quality in the manufacture of their pianos. But your electronic keyboard is not a symbol of elegance nor does it even compliment your decor. This piano is a fabulous piece of furniture indicative of luxury and taste. Dave Brubeck, Leonard Bernstein, Billy Joel, John Williams, Igor Stravinsky, Ray Charles, Stephen Sondheim, and many more insist on only Baldwin with which to compose, perform, and record their famous music. Any Baldwin made piano is worth the time, money and energy to rebuild or refurbish. This is a model SF, 7' black satin finish made in 1982. Not all Baldwins are created equal. This piano has exceptional bass tones and crisp high notes. The piano has had the same owner for 20 years, perfect soundboard, excellent felt condition, and regularly tuned and original re-upholstered bench.
