These guitars are collectors items and were only made by Fender from 1980 - 1983. I bought several Fender Lead I and Lead III guitars for a recording project because nothing sounds like these Seth Lover designed humbucker pickups. The pickups are wired with coil taps for single-coil performance, and also series and parallel humbucking. I bought so many of them because I use several different guitar tunings so I wouldn't need to retune or restring with different string gauges for each. You will likely want to change the strings, tuning, action and intonation to your preference. My recording is long done and while I hate to part with these amazing guitars, I'm more into orchestral music now and don't play electric guitar anymore. However, if you're into fat/crunchy humbuckers and spanky/clucky single coils, you'll like these guitars. This is a used guitar.
