Up for sale is a vintage 1961 National Airline solid maple three piece slab body electric guitar. This is an amazing vintage piece of guitar history. Manufactured in the U.S.A. it sports three double humbucker P-90 pickups . Chrome is in amazing shape as is the entire guitar given her age. No breaks or mods or repairs done. All original and all electronics work and function as they should with all original pots and controls and solder joints. This is a crazy loud guitar and plays great. Frets are in great condition with little play wear. An original Bigsby tremolo system , coupled with Klusen deluxe tuners  keeps this  guitar in tune with a completely  adjustable bridge . Some light play scuffs on the pick up chrome frames and the usual nicks and light scratches on the body. One of the body lamination seams has a small darker line at the lower bout ( see pictures ) that has not done a thing since I have owned the guitar. ( over 12 years now , and it was exactly like that when I bought her, it may have been re-glued  a long time ago and has not budged since, so no issues at all, it is about an 1" long , it could even be the grain of the wood as there exists no actual space or separation between the two pieces of maple or an actual " crack" visible , but I had to be honest and make mention of that )  No major wear on the back or anything through the finish. Neck is straight and has a few dings and scratches with some wear in one spot in the clear-coat but nothing that effects play-ability, it would not show up in the photo's. No neck repairs or breaks. It has beautiful block style fret markers and a bound exotic wood fret board. Binding is in excellent condition with all areas intact and solid. Time for a new home for this 56 year old highly collectible piece of guitar history. I will include the original two tone hard-shell case which is in good condition with all latches intact and working well . No breaks. An awesome case in itself. Bid with confidence.
