Vintage 1963 Vox AC30 guitar amp 2x12 combo !
Selling a beautifully restored vintage 1963 Vox AC30 combo guitar amp.These vintage AC30 amps are the holy grail for that classic Vox tone!
This amp is an exceptional example and has been lovingly restored. Here is what was done:
The amplifier section of the combo is in exceptional original condition. The amplifier features the original Transformers which are Haddon. The amplifier has had some maintenance done to keep it in top top shape. It has had some electrolytic capacitors replaced, Tubes are newer and the amp has an added top boost on the back. The vibrato switch has been modified to a smooth tapered pot insted of the 3 way switch pot the amp originally came with. This helps to achieve more tonal options on the vibrato channel.
The cabinet was restored with period correct smooth bookbinding tolex. the same the originals used. It looks stunning!
The speakers: The amplifier has one original blue and one Celestion Greenback. The blue has been reconed by Orange County Speaker in California.
The amp is in perfect working order with no issues.
This is an amazing amplifier that will make any studio or serious player very happy!Amplifier comes with a re-issue Vox Egg pedal.
