Description Exact Year: 1967 Series: Vintage Body Type: Hollow Model: ES-330 Brand: Gibson
Selling: Fantastic vintage Gibson 1967 ES-330TD hollow body guitar. It has been kept in its case in an environmentally controlled environment and has not been played (or out of its case) for the last 25 years. Everything is original to the instrument. The case is from the 1950's with a pink interior and is very worn (in a good way). There is evidence of it having been painted-over at some point. Somehow this 1950's case came with the guitar when it was bought in the 1960's from a second hand guitar shop. Many will find this a fortunate mismatch. The guitar is beautiful: all original parts and a unique sunburst color. The guitar will need attention due to years of having not being played. On the back of the neck, below the headstock, exists a crack where glue was applied (unprofessionally) to address the issue - this can be seen in photo above. It never affected the playing of the instrument, but I would expect this would want to be addressed by the new owner. The usual attention that needs to be given to such instruments will require someone who is handy with guitars or who knows a guitar tech who can clean it up and address the crack on the neck. If you are a collector of fine vintage Gibson guitars - this is a wonder item. I welcome you to view my 100% positive feedback rating. Thank you and good luck!
