This is NOT A REISSUE. This is an actual 1960 Gretsch 6118 in Cadillac Green with the original hard shell case. It has all the normal wear and tear you would expect from a 60 year old guitar. But nothing major that would affect playability. Just cosmetic issues. I will say this. This guitar plays like a dream! It sounds so amazing. Probably the best Hollowbody I have ever played. All original as far as I can tell. The only issues are cosmetic. There are cracks in the binding. All of these cracks are normal for a 1960 Gretsch. One small piece of the binding is missing. I pictured that. The other issue is the black paint on the heel. If I were to guess there was a repair MANY years ago. I can't see where though. It is super solid and the setup is amazing. Has the original hard shell case. It has plenty of rips in the Tolex. Been well used. But it all works as it should except for the one latch in the middle. The internals on the latch don't work. All others do though. Listen. You could spend 2500.00 on a new reissue. But I promise it will not play anywhere near like this one. Promise. This is a great deal. But make me an offer.
