Here is another departure from my normal "Relic" style Fender basses....NEW "'58" Fender Precision Bass Replica....Every part on this bass is new and factory fresh! Not assembled by Fender, so I'm listing as "New Other".... This is an excellent bass with solid quality feel, Excellent Sound, and Vintage look! New '58 Custom shop version is at least three times the price of this one. New Fender Precision Bass body with New Fender Licensed AllParts Maple neck with Rosewood Fretboard, New Gold Anodized Pickguard, New Reverse Wind Vintage Large-Back Long-Stem Tuners, New Fender Pickup! New Vintage Fender Bridge, Bridge Cover and Pickup Cover, and new vintage Fender Barrel Knobs, string tree, strap buttons, and screws. Frets leveled and polished. Neck is adjusted to Fender Specs and then tweaked to provide the absolute best playability! This bass plays effortlessly and you can play it for hours without becoming fatigued due to the low, consistent action all up and down the neck! The intonation has also been set perfectly and every note plays in tune! Great sustain and even note voicing! Excellent solid feel...9 lbs 8oz total weight. New Electronics: CTS 250k Pots, Switchcraft output Jack, PIO (Paper In Oil) .047uf Tone Capacitor, Treble Bleed Circuit on Volume Pot (helps reduce treble loss at lower volumes), All Vintage Cloth Wiring. New Fender Original Precision Bass Pickups, 10.5k DC Resistance. AllParts neck is new and pristine, with truss rod adjustment at neck heel. Period specific Fender Headstock Decal applied and covered in several coats of nitrocellulose lacquer and Vintage Tint lacquer.
