For sale is a fantastic Gibson guitar in matte black. Reason for sale is because I have a wedding coming up to pay for, plus I recently bought a custom built guitar that tends to get more of my attention. That being said the guitar is a dream to play. I wanted to own a Gibson for such a long time, I played many and this was my favourite when I purchased it. I've owned this guitar from new for between 3-4 years. It has been well looked after, however there are about 3 tiny chips on the edge of the guitar which (as you will see from the main photos) barely shows and is merely cosmetic. The rest of the guitar is in good condition. It sounds amazing and plays really well. I've taken photos of the chips so you're aware of them but you have to look very closely to see them. It's a shame to sell it but this is too nice a guitar to not be played so it deserves to be owned by someone who will play it more. Please note the guitar stand is not included. I will try to see if I have a spare gig bag to go with it but no promises. Please assume otherwise that you are bidding on the guitar only. When paired together, these woods offer a tonal depth and complexity unmatched by any single-wood construction, with warmth and richness from the mahogany, and superb clarity and “snap” from the maple, all of which translates beautifully to the guitar’s amplified sound. The mahogany back is strategically weight relieved to both lighten your load and improve resonance. A solid mahogany neck is glued into the body in Gibson’s time-tested tradition, and carved to a fast, slim 60s profile that measures .800” at the 1st fret and .875” at the 12th.
