Schilke XA7 cornet in excellent condition, serial number 536xx. This is a superb instrument, with possibly the easiest upper register of any cornet or trumpet I have played. It is supposedly a ML bore horn, but it plays and sounds like a full-fledged big bore short cornet, perfect for British Brass Band music. Intonation is excellent as well, it takes surprisingly little effort to get the large, round sound that is desirable for many cornet settings. It is in great shape, with just one small ding on the bell bow, and some mute scratches on the inside of the bell (all are pictured). I have done many shows and solo performances with this horn, it is truly a jem. Thanks for bidding!
