What makes this guitar special: A great vintage player with a cool vibe and snappy playability. The dual single coils sound absolutely great, with plenty of fun and versatility added by way of the vibrato tailpiece. This one was definitely someone’s “go-to” and showcases plenty of authentic wear, but has not been mistreated, with a ton of life left in it. It’s been professionally setup and inspected by our expert in-house luthier and will arrive ready to play right out of the case.Cosmetic condition: Used but not abused, with plenty of wear consistent with age. Various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs throughout, with weather checking throughout and visible pickwear on the guard. The clear coat has worn away in a few spots on the fingerboard, and there is some chipping in the guard near the truss rod adjustment screw. The back of the guitar shows ghosting from old band decals, visible only under direct lighting. Overall, this one has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.Body: Contoured double cutaway ash body in natural finish with 3-ply black pickguard, six-saddle bridge and tremolo tailpiece.Weight: 7 lb, 1 ozNeck: C-shaped maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays. Fingerboard shows wear consistent with age, but frets still have a great deal of life left in them. 1 5/8” nut width, 24” scale length. Original F stamped tuners function great. Neck is straight and plays beautifully up and down the length of the fingerboard.Electronics: Dual single coil pickups (Neck-8.03k ohms, Bridge-8.52k ohms) with individual mini toggle switches and black skirted knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone. Pots and pickups date to ’78 and all electronics are fully functional.Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
