Just want you guys to know what you're getting!This is a 1946 Gibson LG 1, I sent it off to scott Baxendale of baxendale Guitars to have him convert it to an LG 3 x braced gibson. Bottom line he did a phenomenal job, as you can see it was pretty banged up, but Scott Baxendale is a master! It's all original with exception of the bracing, new frets, bridge plate, bridge, nut and saddle, it also had a new neck reset! check out all the pics for the cracks and the repairs. Guitar has light strings, And that amazing tone that only a 1946 Gibson could produce! It's set up for light strings, i'm sure you could put mediums on her after a set up, all in all this guitar sounds beautiful all the way up the neck! When I called scott after it was finished before he shipped it to me , I said Scott how does she sound? His words, it sounds like a recording instrument! Just what I wanted to hear! She has a really nice low-end, and overall a nice even tone! As stated, Recording instrument,beautiful tone! Please ask any questions before bidding! I will try to be as accurate with the description as possible, there's any concerns please ask, this is a no reserve auction, payment will be due immediately!
