This is a brand new Gibson SG Special from 2016.
It is just missing it's original packaging.
The SG Special uses mahogany tonewoods for the body and neck.
This delivers outstanding sustain and a slightly warmer richer tone than lighter bodied woods.
Extremely comfortable, with features the super fretting and fingerboard runs of the original SG's.
The humbuckers are 490R and 490T which have evolved from the original PAF models.
Output is similar to the Burstbucker models of old.
The SG has a nitro satin finish in faded cherry red which is absolutely gorgeous.
This model has also returned to the original Grover vintage tuners.
For ease of use and reliability these are the tuners to use.
Comes with a padded Gibson soft but stiff case.
As I say, this guitar is new and has never been played.
However there is a hard to see teeny dink on the right shoulder which I have pictured.
Otherwise it is in mint condition.
Will be well packed for transit.
