Also interesting to note, this drum measures 5.5 deep just like the one Ringo owned! All parts are factory original except brand new heads and a set of period correct 12 strand Ludwig wires:All 16 tension rods are matching and have original washers.All 8 bow tie lugs are in beautiful shape with no pitting.Both hoops are in round, the bottom hoop is COB. There are a few light scuffs on the bottom hoop from normal use.The shell is exceptionally clean and in round with NO separation of plys or re-rings, and both bearing edges are original and excellent.The P83, P32 butt and red felt baseball bat muffler all operate perfectly.The White Marine Pearl wrap is free of scratches and scuffs and is on tight with no seam lift. This '64 Jazz Fest looks amazing and sounds even better!!! This drum is easily worthy of any recording studio's snare drum collection. Super crisp with nice warmth and fantastic snare sensitivity. Grab this drum while you can.
