Untitled DocumentVintage Ampeg    V-4B tube bass amp
This is a truly vintage AMPEG V-4B amp in excellent working condition. The amp is    a real 'killer' - it has crisp, clear highs, warm, natural sounding midrange, and thundering low end - this amp has the smootheness and a response most professional    bass players are looking for. The power output is 100 Watts, but if you are concerned the unit may have been under-powered for some gigs, you needn't have worried - the pure tube, 100 Watts from these great, American made 7027A tubes will produce a sound volume that will seem    like there is a lot more power than 100 Watts. While the V-4B has less power than the SVT, it has still plenty of headroom and punch for most club and stage gigs with a good speakers cabinet. The controls are just as straight-forward, the construction is top-notch, and most importantly-- the Ampeg's fat, all-tube tone is there. The vinyl is in excellent condition with no scratches nor tears.  The face plate has one, small area of scratches. The graphics on the front page are really good with minimal fading. The tubes are all American - they were recently checked on a mutual conductance tube checker and they all check like new. Tubes are: 4 x 7027A, 2 x 12AX7, 1 x 12AU7, 1 x 12DW7, 1 x 6K11. Controls:   Volume for each channel, bass, mid-range, treble, 3-way mid-range selector, ultra hi switch, ultra low switch. Dimensions:    26-5/8"W x 10"H x 11-1/8" D. Shipping weight ca. 65 lbs.
