The Fender Standard Jazz Bass pairs traditional Fender tone and style with modern updates at an affordable price!Since its inception in 1960, the Jazz Bass has been one most widely used basses in all different genres of music. Because of its unparalleled versatility and easy playability, the Jazz Bass remains as popular as ever. In tandem with its predecessor, the Precision Bass, the Jazz Bass continues to be the standard bearer and a frontline force in the world of popular music.The Fender Standard Jazz Bass holds true to the most of the original specs that made it an instant classic in 1960. It boasts an alder body featuring Fender's legendary 'comfort contour' and offset waist design that was way ahead of its time. The Standard Jazz Bass comes equipped a bolt-on Modern "C"-shaped maple neck and a more contemporary 9.5"-radius fingerboard with medium-jumbo frets for maximum comfort and playability.
