These hail from the famous Morris guitar workshop, Nagano, JapanRenowned for top quality materials and hand crafted by Masters.These are beautiful guitars 'inspired' by high end Martins and at a quarter the price.This one complete with its original Japanese case, is real treasure…..Seldom seen in this condition, the overall general appearance is near mint - obviously closer inspection will reveal slight traces of use after 35+ years…...I have just taken some more photo's and what a privilege to photograph this beauty! These show that there are a couple of very tiny dings and one or two marks if you look close, yet nothing outstanding. After 35+ years she shoulders the usual and expected timeworn patina and wear seen in a vintage guitar, yet she wears this well and really is a fantastic looker - the best example we have seen for sure.
All original except upgraded Japanese Gotoh tuners. No repairs.Structurally sound as a pound with no real structural movement and beautifully set up with superb low action.Sound-wise is tight with good note separation, quite bassy lows with well rounded mids, sparkly highs, really nice. Comparable to many higher end versions of which this guitar is a copy. Not so 'woody' as some Martins can be hence the mids are still clear and she does have some grunt when needed.Professionally set up and maintained, new pro grade strings fitted and sounding luscious!Please ask any questions or make an offer before she gets snapped up!Enjoy!Enjoy!!
