The Larrivee P-09 is carved out of solid AAA rosewood with a master grade Austrian Moonwood soundboard. Using Master grade Austrian Moonwood Symmetrical X-Bracing with the combination of woods, this acoustic guitar delivers incredibly balanced, yet versatile tones, from chimey highs to responsive lows. Add in the gloss finish, and the P-09 becomes livelier than other P-09's in the collection. Other features include a single-piece mahogany dovetail neck for smooth action and playability and ivoroid Fretboard binding to make this one of the most beautiful acoustics in our shop. This beautiful artisan tone is matched by the visual appointments. The bindings are deeply flamed maple, the rosette is stunning Abalone, which is complimented by the deluxe fretboard and bridge wing inlays. The one-piece mahogany dovetail neck is superbly comfortable, and the shorter scale of this parlor sized guitar maked the P-09 Moonwood amazingly easy to play. The fretboard, as well as the bridge, are African Ebony for a rich, elegant look and feel, and the compound fretboard radius of 16" to 21" makes for accurate fingering and articulate noting in all registers.
