Gibson L-50 1946 Vintage Archtop Guitar w/Gig Bag
Estimated price for orientation: 1 200 $
Category: Electric Guitars
Class:
Description Brand: Gibson Series: Vintage Model: Vintage Exact Year: 1946
You are bidding on a 1946 Gibson L-50 Archtop Guitar w/ gig bag. This is an awesome guitar, especially considering its a WW2-era instrument; the neck is straight and fast and it still sounds great. I'd like to keep it for my collection, but I'll need to sell it to fund other projects.Since this is a true vintage instrument, there are many signs of wear and tear. The major issues I'm aware of are:-Crack on the right-side bough (shown in pictures); the crack is stable and can easily be repaired by a luthier. -piece of fretboard missing around 15th fret (shown in pictures)-Binding is cracked and warped in several places -Wear on fingerboard -Signs of repair on body below fretboard (shown in pictures)-Normal finish wear and tear (checking on headstock, random scratches, etc.)-Dead fret on 14th fret D-string
Purchased in November 2016 from Picker's Supply in Fredericksburg, VA. Comes with a deluxe TKL gig bag. Please do not contact me with trade offers. Starting bid price is firm. Please ask any questions before bidding.I only ship to addresses within continental USA. Payment is due 2 business days from close of auction. Good luck!
