Description Brand: Burns Right-/ Left-Handed: Left-Handed Body Type: Solid Body Colour: Black Model: Black Bison
I am selling my 1963 (I think !) super rare left handed burns black bison - my first proper guitar was a left handed black bison when I was 8 years old and I went on to collect 4 of them - they only made 15 lefty black bisons. Sadly I can't find my copy of Paul Day's the Burns Book and the info on the website is vague but I think this is a 1963 model not 62 with the serial number 4185 Whilst Burns is still ongoing the early sixties models were top of the range hand made pieces and they feel so solid and play great. The Burns sound is single coil and snappy burt the front pickup is very warm - I play everything on the front pickup I have not tried to find the term cover but Barry Gibson at Burns UK does say they have a small stock of original parts as does Alfons on his Burns tribute website http://www.burns-guitars.nl/saleslist.htm http://www.burnsguitarmuseum.com/jim-burns-story/ I will ship worldwide but the piece is very heavy! You can come to North London to check it out before you bid also Any questions do not hesitate to call
