This Millennia STT-1 should be of interest to the serious collector of Slipknot memorabilia, its intrinsic exceptional audio performance notwithstanding.  I purchased the unit to use on SLIPKNOT related side projects recorded/mixed at SR Audio in Des Moines, IA.  The vocals of Slipknot/Stone Sour's Corey Taylor and Marilyn Manson have traveled through this very channel strip.  It is in excellent working order and was used exclusively in non-smoking control rooms (yes, they smoked outside). I used the Millennia to track vocals with Corey Taylor on "Project X", which served as pre-production for Stone Sour's 1st album.  This one-owner channel strip was used on the Slipknot Re-Mix of Marilyn Manson's "The Fight Song" by Joey Jordison, and also used to record the Murderdoll's "Beyond The Valley of the Murderdolls" with Joey Jordison. It was used on a Shawn Crahan (Clown) side project called "One Cup Fat". Additionally, the late British engineer/producerAndy Johns (Led Zeppelin "I - IV", Rolling Stones - "Exile on Main Street" & "Beggar's Banquet" ) used this Millennia while tracking the Jackass project. If this box could talk,...The specs should speak for themselves: THD .005%, Frequency Response 3 Hz - 200 kHz, Noise - 126dB EIN at 50 dB Gain (solid state paths). It is an amazing chameleon with 2 switchable channel path combinations, altering between tube or solid state Mic pre amp, then a tube or solid state 4 band semi-parametric EQ and Compressor. The solid-state compressor is FET, mimicking the performance characteristics of the famed 1176, while the tube compressor circuit employs an opto-limiter design modeled after the LA-2A.  The solid state path sounds amazingly clean and absolutely silent, whilst the tube section provides substantial warmth, girth, and distortion if desired. Tube are 12AX7's & 12AU7's.REASON FOR SELLING:  I'm simply not doing enough production work to justify keeping a piece of equipment like this anymore.ALSO:  NO, I do not have recordings or Slipknot swag, so please DON'T ASK!  The Millennia channel strip is the only item for sale.
