I'm selling this wonderful Audio Interface, which is no longer needed, as it has largely been used as a secondary interface, and hasn't been used for a while!This is a Firewire 400 based interface, but works perfectly with both firewire 800 AND Thunderbolt. I will provide a 3m Firewire 400 to 800 cable, and if you want to use with a current Mac or PC, you'll need an appropriate adapter. I have used this with a Mac for many years, with a thunderbolt adapter, and never had a hitch!Included are the original rack ears, which are removable, PSU (which may not be required) and FW cable. It is BUSS powered, so happily draws power from your computer. I've never used the PSU but it was included, so it's here with the unit! It's not boxed and has some VERY minor scratches on the top and bottom, purely caused by placing in and out of a rack. There is some minor rack rash too, but the rack ears can be removed, if you don't want to look at, or use them!It's got a thorough Spec :-4 x Mic/line Inputs (XLR or 1/4" Jack neutrik sockets)4 x Line inputs on 1/4"8 x 1/4" outputs8 In and 8 Out on Lightpipe (additional to analog connectors!)AES EBU In and Out and separate Wordclock In/OutIt's also got MIDI in and Out!Should you want to be really portable, you can power it from a battery, (or your Computer) and you can also use it standalone as a Mixer, without the need for a computer to be connected!Sampling/bit rates of up to 96khz/24bit, with some very impressive sounding convertors! It's a thoroughly pro device, and is still available from new for the princely sum of around £750.All MOTU software associated with the Traveller is available as a free download, which included the CUE Mix software, which also contains FX, compressors, etc. I'm happy to post at cost, or you can collect from me in Farnham, near Guildford.
