This auction is for a semi-pro Yamaha YCL-52 Bb Clarinet in Excellent condition with all new pads! This instrument is difficult to find for sale because they are such high quality instruments. Easily beating out the intermediate level YCL-34 and YCL-450 in terms of response and tuning. This absolutely fabulous clarinet is one of the best money can buy without going with a fully priced professional model. 52s are difficult to come by because they are only rarely sold by their owners. I can see why. This instrument is an excellent player, It is made from a high-quality wood that responds well and is easy to learn on. This particular instrument is in good condition. There are scratches on instrument body from normal use, but the logos are mostly faded. They are visible in the right light, but this instrument has been well played and well loved. The silver plating on the instrument is stunning, but has some spotty wear on most keys. There is a repaired crack on the top joint, but it does not affect the playability of this instrument. The case is a high quality leather bound hard case that is very sturdy.
