Impressively clean 1976 Gibson Hummingbird in excellent condition. This bird sounds rich and full. It was professionally set up recently and plays great. Most hummingbirds this age are beat up, but NOT this one. The original owner must have kept it under the bed untouched for 40 years. There are just a few scratches and minor dings here and there. I don't see any major cracks except a partial one near the sound hole. All in all this is the most pristine vintage guitar I've seen.I bought this guitar earlier this year but just haven't had time to play it. The guy I purchased it from said it's a 1974. But my research says 1976. Made in the USA at the legendary Kalamazoo, MI factory. The label is long gone as is the original case. I am shipping it to you in a new Gator deluxe hard case that fits it perfectly.This vintage hummingbird would be perfect for a singer songwriter or anyone who just loves old Gibsons.
