Rare army issue Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders pipers sporran. Top quality , made by Kinloch Anderson. Cream leather purse back. Heavy chrome cantle with well detailed Boars Head, Wildcat and Princess Louise cypher. Grey horsehair with 3 black horsehair tassles with thistle motif tassle tops. Original red leather belt loops.These sporrans were unique to Argylls pipers and are virtually impossible to find. This one dates from the 50's and is not one of the poor quality Dalman ones made just before the demise of the Regiment. Kinloch is regarded as the all time best maker of these sporrans. Total length approx. 18 inches . No offers, try finding another, they're just not out there, especially a top end vintage one.Due to bad experiences with non-paying buyer. I am not selling to the bidder who has no feedback history.
