Up for auction is a Jon Hill custom guitar (now called Bootleg guitars). This is Jon's custom take on a firebird style guitar. I picked this guitar up on a whim after hearing a bass he built. Jon ran the Custom shop at Dean for a long time and has been building for 25+ years. This guitar was his personal guitar I bought not long ago. This is a great guitar but I need an amp. The guitar is exactly how I received it from Jon's shop, a little bit of wear but I'd say an 8/10. It's missing the cover for the control cavity. I'm sure Jon could get you one if needed--he normally puts a clear plexi-glass cover on the control cavity. The guitar plays extremely well and sounds killer. The bridge pickup is a custom wound Hill humbucker and the neck is a Hill custom wound P90 style. New these guitars are over $2,200 and his waiting list is over a year.
