For Sale: 1976 Fender Musicmaster with added bridge pickupThis guitar has a great resonant blues/rock sound and the neck feels great. There is some body and fret wear from being played 41 years, but it is in good playing condition. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Custom bridge and Seymour Duncan Vintage Staggered neck. I will include the original tortoise pickguard and original pickup. The conventional 2 x 3 switching has been changed so that the rear switch (near bridge) is wired for bridge/both pickups/neck, and the front switch is wired to give you series/parallel/off. These kinds of switches tend to be finnicky, but at least the 3 most common sounds are available by using only one switch now unlike the factory configuration. Saddles are brass compensated for better intonation. The scale is 24” and the body is poplar.Original Fender case is included and is in good condition.Any questions are welcome and advised before bidding. Thank you for looking.
