Offered here is this absolutely superb sounding U99. I bought this just as the mic and sent it to David to firstly build a psu. It was then given a thorough going over including capsule clean and new Telefunken tube. I was told this was from the end of the run of the U99 so it has the best German 67 capsule. I think the U99 had a few changes, then became the U99b then back to U99 which was it's final incarnation which this one is from. However it appears the mic has started to be produced again, I presume due to demand. It is a fantastic piece of engineering and has a lovely rich forward sound in the style of a U67 but with extended top and bottom. Cardiod, Omni and Fig8 patterns.
