Principal measurements are: Length of back = 36. cm; lower bout = 20.9 cm; Middle bout = 11.7 cm; Upper bout = 17 cm. Vibrating string length (edge of nut to bridge = 33. 3 cm)All in all, a good old violin which should give playing satisfaction. This violin was inspected by Peter Horner of Bromptons in February 2017 who confirmed it to be a French violin circa 1820 All ready to play. Please note the owner mentioned the bass bar has been replaced. Item is as described and as seen in the pics, thank you for your interest ~
