Yes, this is what it is - one of 53 per Gruhn Guide. A minty 1975 Les Paul Custom with a Brazilian TOP that has the added bonus of a Les Paul autograph on the back of the headstock. I bought this from George Gruhn 20 years ago - I am the 2nd owner. Comes with full case candy including the original receipt. This baby is truly minty - the only things I would note are:
1. the first owner apparently didn't like the knobs and replaced them - they are in the case as you can see.2. i am sure not sure of the word for "binding checking" but as you can see on 2 places of the neck, the cream has faded into white. This is cosmetic not "chipped."This can only be sold in the US because it does not have the "papers" certifying how many trees were cut in Brazil to make this guitar. Or you can hide it under your shirt. I continue to thin the herd and this is truly a sweet one. Has not left my home studio. Frets excellent and PUPS still rock. This is of the better pieces of wood to come out of Norlin. My living room is not included in the sale.
