Gibson Les Paul Gold Top '57 re-issue purchased in 2003 in very good original condition.
The pickup covers are factory aged giving a dull appearance and the top and headstock have a little factory checking, giving this fine example that lightly aged look without appearing bashed about or neglected.One piece solid mahogany back.
The back has very light " buckle rash" as it has been played and not kept in a cupboard or hanging on a wall like an expensive painting. That said there is plenty of meat on the frets and will not require any dressing for some time.
It has a fairly low action at present strung with 10s-52s as I find this gives the best feel and sound.
No choking or dead spots and plays clean right up to the 22nd fret.
Selling as I have gravitated towards my Strat for the type of material I am currently playing.Please do not leave bidding to last minute as you might miss out the opportunity to purchase this great instrument.
