Electric bass Die Instrumente dieser Music Man PDN Serie werden in einem besonderen, transparenten Vintage Tobacco Burst Finish lackiert, durch das die Maserung des Korpusholzes (Erle) optisch betont wird. Der gemaserte Ahornhals wird mit einem gefärbten Öl- und Wachs-Finish behandelt. Dadurch wird der Hals dunkler und die Maserung hervorgehoben. Die Hälse werden mit einem Palisander- oder Ahorn-Griffbrett ausgestattet. Somit sind auch Modelle mit Ahorn-Griffbrett realisierbar, die sonst nur mit Palisander-Griffbrett erhältlich sind (z.B. Luke III). The instruments from this Music Man PDN Limited Edition feature the special, distinctive transparent Vintage Tobacco Burst finish, highlighting the wood structure of the alder body. The figured maple neck is treated with tinted oil & gunstock wax: this makes the neck look darker and more prominently figured. Both maple and rosewood fretboards are featured, even on models previously available only with the rosewood fingerboard, such as Luke III. Both matching and non-matching headstocks are available on the PDN Vintage Tobacco Burst instruments.
