Very Nice Benge CG/Claude Gordon model. 98% silver finish in beautiful condition.
Valves and slides all move properly. Serial number 27XXX indicates a 1979 manufacture date. Sturdy original hard case. There is, on the third valve casing,
and above that on the bellpipe, two small spots of silver wear (pictured).
Also, during photographing, I noticed what appears to be a crack in the bellpipe crook, from an old repair. It has no effect on the tone or playability of the horn.
Straight bell(no prior repairs)and some small pings here and there. There is a ding on the lead pipe(pictured)that doesn't affect the playing. That's the "good, bad and ugly" on this beautiful horn. Thanks for looking
