USED DONMO 19 NED KELLY RESONATOR
PLEASE CALL US TOLL FREE FOR AN IN-HAND DESCRIPTIONASK FOR JONATHAN1-800-800-0087 What makes this guitar special: Originating from Australia, this handmade resonator boasts a ton of personality and a great look to boot. Its tone is a surprisingly warm and much closer to a wood body than you might imagine, yet still has great mid-range pop and top end chime. Its sound holes are distinct to say the least and provide a ton of visual intrigue, with touches of early 1900s design elements. Its back is even more interesting with an etching styled like a wood block print depicting Ned Kelly in full garb firing a revolver into the air. The back of its neck shows great flaming as well, adding to its overall character that much more. Plus, its still in great shape and comes with a hardshell case. Condition: This resonator is in very good condition overall. It shows only minor dings and light scratches throughout, but is otherwise in great shape for a used instrument. The frets show only light wear if any and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod works but is a bit tight.Body: Three-piece nickel/chrome mini-dreadnought style body with smoking gun back graphic. Single cone with a biscuit bridge and hourglass-style tailpiece.
Neck: Chunky U-shaped flamed mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Vintage-style open-gear Waverly tuning machines. 1 ¾” nut width. 25.5” scale. .93” deep at the 1st fret and 1.20” deep at the 12th. Weight: 9 lbsPlayability/Sound: For a resonator, it’s not as heavy as you might imagine and its chunky neck has a nice full-in-hand feel. The body has nice resonance and the overall tone is much warmer than you might imagine for its construction. Case: Includes hardshell case.
