Beautiful example of mid century English electronics manufacturing that oozes charm and character. Built to a very high standard and using high spec components into a steel enclosure that somewhat resembles an old heater!The amplifier features inputs for 'gramophone' and microphone - 2 for each with independent volume controls. There is then a master tone section that allows you to cut or lift bass and treble.The output section gives you a choice of 7.5ohm and 15ohm impedances and a 100v line connection.Simple!Inside you will see a pair of cv4006, a Brimar Ecc83 and an Ecc82. There are 2 El84s in the power section and rectifying it are 2 ez84s.This unit is in fine condition and has undergone some light restoration in the form of some new high quality F&T filter capacitors and various old out of spec components replaced with high quality modern counterparts. The gramophone inputs will accommodate a guitar signal and it sounds sweet through my 2x12 cab. Overall a wonderfully quirky old valve amplifier, ready to use or add to your collection.
