This listing is for a Sky Blue Pearl Music Man Bongo 4 HHP. (I am also listing a Black Bongo 5 HH in a separate auction). This is a fairly hard to find bass with the HHP configuration. I took it as trade from a friend for a Sterling that I never played and being a 4 string I have a hard time playing it as I'm really just too used to the 5 strings. It sounds flat out insane as all Bongos do especially with the piezo and it is an incredibly comfortable guitar. I had my guitar guy go over her about a month ago and had a new set of Elixirs put on. It will come with a set of strap locks and two new 9 volts, in case you are unaware the Bongo has an extremely hot 18 volt preamp. It comes with one of those soft cases which is in good shape, as usual the zipper pulls need replaced. The zippers themselves are fine.The headstock has the common chip on the pointy part (see pic), the pick guard has some scratches and scuffs. Other than that I don't notice anything else. That being said I tried to get every angle as best I could and for the sake of keeping everything on the up and up I suggest that you ignore everything that I have to say about the condition of the guitar and scrutinize the pictures and make you own decision regarding the condition. This is an as is sale/no returns and I don't want anyone feeling slighted.
