Up for sale is a vintage Patent number Gibson humbucker pickup with gold plated cover.I'm not certain if this is a pre-T top or a T-top, since it looks like the cover has not been off. Based upon the cover, which appears to be goldplated nickel, the Phillips head screws, as well as the L-tooling marks, my sense is that it is likely a pre-t top. T-top patent number pickups almost all have flat head screws and chrome covers.But please examine the pictures carefully, which will allow you to make you own assessment.I cannot know for certain unless the cover is removed, and since it looks like it's solder is relatively undisturbed, I am not going to remove the cover for the sake of originality. The cover itself shows some moderate wear to the top, but would be perfect for a vintage restoration.Price is $899.99 obo. Shipping is $4.99 to the domestic USA.
