Kimball was one of the largest American piano companies in the latter part of the 20th century and they made pianos on all levels much like Yamaha and Kawai do today. They owned Bosendorfer at the time this piano was built and it has the same plate design as the Bosendorfer. The Viennese Editions were the top of the line pianos made by Kimball at the time. The parts and finish on this piano are original and in excellent condition and it has a beautiful sound and action. This piano has been customized by designer and leather artist, Jaclynn Cauthorn, to enhance the natural beauty of the original art-case woodwork. It is covered in beautifully embossed leather with a vintage antique rose design. This same floral concept is repeated on the custom made polished brass and sterling silver embellishments.
