Description

For sale is a restored Vintage Framus Archtop guitar. This guitar is circa 1954. The guitar has been restored back to excellent working condition. It still shows it’s age with beautiful signs of use. The guitar did not originally include any electronics but a Budz P90 pickup was added. It’s a beautiful sounding pickup. Quality CTS pots and a switchcraft jack were used. The guitar also has nice acoustic projection if you prefer to play without amplification. The neck profile is thick, 1” at the first fret and 1.2” at the 10th fret. The neck is straight and reinforced with two carbon fiber rods. The string action at the 12th fret is 5/64” at both E strings. The heel has a stress crack in the finish but it’s solid.   Upgrades ·      Budz P90 Pickup ·      Ebony Fretboard ·      Medium Large Frets ·      Grover Deluxe Tuners ·      Bone Nut ·      Bone Saddle ·      Carbon Fiber Reinforced NeckRemember that this guitar is over 60 years old and has the dings, donks and other imperfections you would find on a guitar this age.
