For sale is a Wessex FB124 Flugabone, in beautiful condition. (This is also sometimes referred to as a “marching trombone.”)It comes with the sturdy but lightweight original case, including backpack straps and a Wessex 6 3/4C mouthpiece designed for the horn.It has a full, warm sound and the valves are excellent. The horn was purchased new last fall, and has been played very little. This model currently is on backorder with Wessex, so is not the easiest to find.Wessex describes the horn as follows on its website:"Specifications• Key: Bb• Bell: 8.46″ (215mm)• Bore: 0.500″ (12.4mm)• Weight: 3.97 lbs (1.8kg)Special Features• Gold brass leadpipe• Stainless steel top sprung valves• Nickel tuning slides• Lightweight foam body case• 6 3/4 C mouthpiece with small trombone/baritone shank"Wessex horns are generally regarded as excellent value for the money, and this one is no exception.
