Here's a left handed vintage Fender Japan 62 reissue Stratocaster guitar with a relic'd shell pink nitro lacquer over vintage two tone sunburst finish. This guitar is upgraded with a 4 ply Fender tortoise pickguard, and SME ST64 (Sullivan Music Equipment) custom hand wound pickups and all cloth wiring throughout with CTS pots, orange drop capacitor, and Oak Grigsby 5 way switch. These are high-end, made in USA pickups that are top notch! These Texas Grey genuine left handed staggered pickups provide classic clean tone, as described by SME:60s Style Single Coil Pickup Set "Vintage Tone". These pickups are perfect for Rock, Blues and Modern Country. A very warm sounding pickup that delivers all the vintage tones you expect. Recommend for custom guitars, upgrading pickups or bringing an old guitar back to life. SME pickups have been compared too much higher priced pickups and they exceed in quality and sound and their customer service is exceptional. Staggered, non-beveled Alinco 5 Magnet Pole Pieces for wider more dynamic magnetic field, fully charged just like the pickups used by Hendrix and Clapton. All that Vintage Chime that is expected from a Single Coil Pickup. Pickups are designed after late 60s single coils using time correct 42 AWG Plain enamel coil wire. Wax potted at 150 degrees to control micro-phonics feedback that can cause sound issues during recording and live performances. Vintage time correct waxed cloth leads (12 inches each). Pickup Electronic specs are as follows: Approximate Ohms Reading (78 Degrees): Neck 5.8-6.0K - Middle 6.1-6.3K - Bridge 6.3-6.5K. Magnetic Orientation: Neck South - Middle North (RW/RP for hum-canceling) - Bridge South.This guitar features a medium slim D shaped maple neck that is straight with vintage frets and truss rod adjustment at heel. The RW board has a 7.25" vintage style finger board radius, with frets that are in vintage condition but with plenty of life left. The aged Kluson tuners and aged string tree are on a matching shell pink nitro headstock, and Fender vintage waterslide decals. The neck is easy to play, and has a beautiful naturally aged finish.
