This is an eBay bidding auction for the ENSONIQ ASR-10 Advanced Sampling Recorder keyboard!! This very rare "blue-screened" sampler recorder sequencer comes complete with the newest boot-up/start-up OS version 3.53 floppy disk, an 8GB hard drive Emulator with all cables and instructions, as well as the power cord. This keyboard in good condition!! Cosmetically the keyboard is average with minor scratches and blemishes due to it's age, but well taken care of. There are no broken or chipped keys and all buttons and sliders works perfectly. Please read the additional info and specifications listed below for the 8GB SCSI hard drive Emulator. The SCSI Card Reader/Writer uses an 8GB micro-SD Card for memory. This package includes the external enclosure with a SCSI Hard Drive Emulator Board, HD50 SCSI connector, an 8GB formatted micro-SD card, a 6' HD50 to DB25 SCSI cable, a 6' USB to micro USB power cable, and an ASR-10 SCSI Emulator manual included!!The Emulator Board is "configured" for an ASR-10. You can re-configure it if you want with the included USB to micro USB cable. The Emulator Board is "hot-swap", so you can change the 8GB micro-SD card without powering down the ASR-10. The SCSI Emulator Board has no moving parts like a SCSI Hard Drive, so it's completely silent and should last forever. The SCSI Emulator Board has active termination and the SCSI ID# is set to ID# 1. The 8GB micro-SD card has been formatted in the Ensoniq format, OS 3.53 has been copied to the card and the directories set-up. The ASR-10 can use an Ensoniq formatted 8GB card. You might see information that there's a 2GB limit, but thats incorrect. You can Boot the ASR-10 from the Emulator, load and save your samples, sequences, etc. at SCSI speed.The SCSI connector on an ASR-10 is DB25. The SCSI connector on the Emulator is a HD50. You will be shipped a 6 ft DB25 to HD 50 SCSI cable.
