Vintage 1965 Gibson Firebird I Electric Guitar.A killer playing and sounding example with tons of vibe for a nice price. The neck is on the slim side and it plays great with a tight, smooth feel all the way up and down. Original P-90 pickups sound fantastic. They are super warm with a fat, punchy attack. The neck pickup delivers a round, thick tone and the bridge a full bodied glassy treble that jangles when it's clean and screams with the gain turned up.Excellent playing condition with signs of normal, honest cosmetic wear throughout common to any vintage guitar such as finish checking, belt buckle wear and other cosmetic blemishes caused by regular use. The bridge has been changed to what appears to be a tonepros wrap around bridge for better intonation and there is an after market bigsby in lieu of the original Maestro Vibrola for better tuning stability. There is a small, hairline crack that is near the bridge post on the bass side, it is stable but should be noted. Guitar is priced accordingly.
