Listing is for this recently completed 1950s style Stratocaster from Virgil's Vintage Guitars.Here are the specs:Neck• Warmoth two piece Maple • Round "C" profile with rolled edges.• Nut width - 1.635"• .845" depth @ 1st fret• .935" depth @ 12th fret• 10" radius• Medium frets• Truss rod adjust at heel• Finished in hand tinted nitrocellulose lacquer with aging and lacquer checkingBody• 3lb. 8oz. two piece Alder• Hand mixed Sea Foam Green Nitrocellulose lacquer, color matched from original Duco color chart. Antique white acrylic primer coat.• Medium aging with lacquer checking Hardware• Aged 2 3/16" Fender tremolo with full size steel block• " Fender Kluson style tuners• " Anodized aluminum pickguardElectronics• Rumpelstiltskin relic custom wound "Transition" pickups.These were designed to replicate pickups that were wound for the brief period in late1964 during the CBS takeover, when Fender was still hand winding to 1964 specs, but had switched over to using plain enamel wire on their remaining stock of black bobbins.These pickups are the perfect balance of warmth and clarity.Alnico 5 magnets, 42g plain enamel wire. 6.17K ohm neck, 6.47K ohm middle, 6.13K ohm bridgeThe highest output pickup has been strategically placed in the middle position, for greater clarity, and notch position "quack", with more presence.• CTS pots and Oak Grigsby switch• Jimmie Vaughan wiring - the middle pickup is out of tone circuit, allowing you to use the tone pots to dial in the sweet spot for in between positions, as well as having tone control for the bridge pickup.Guitar weighs a super light 6lbs.14ozs.Meticulously set up, with hand cut and polished bone nut, as well as leveled and polished frets. Plays and bends flawlessly from top to bottom.The neck is as straight as possible, with just a hint of relief and low action, allowing the new owner to set the action to their personal preference.I'm pricing for a quick sale, to make room for more guitars that are near completion for next months Philly Guitar Show.Very reasonable price for a guitar of this quality.
